LCD-3 Rotor One-point Grounding Relay (hereinafter referred to relay) is used for monitoring the resistance of excitation circuit of large generator rotor against the earth. When somewhere of the generator rotor happens to touch the earth or the level of its insulation reduce to a certain value, the relay immediately take operation, sending off fault signal or is directly on the trip.
