1. As the development of electric power system automation and the prevalence of unmanned power station,the requirement to the automaticity of DC power system is getting higher and higher. DC system monitoring and control device based on microprocessor, as the core of DC power system, is designed to meet this kind of requirements and replace men in the maintenance and management of DC power system. Its four functions “remote measure, remote communication, remote control, remote adjust”and battery intelligent management function can fully meet the unmanned and less-manned watch requirements to DC power system for electric power system.
2 Performance and Features
2.1 The monitoring device adopts the mode of distributed measurement & control and centralized management. This design consideration has the advantages of legible system hiberarchy and the flexibility in capacity enlarging. The device based on microprocessor can fully monitor, measure and control the charger module, battery group, the voltage and insulation resistance to ground of the bus bar, etc.
2.2 The device adopts modularized hardware and software structure. The functions of every part are relatively independent. The system reliability is improved, in the meantime, the maintenance and management of the system is very easy.
2.3 The main control unit adopts 32-bits MCU and embedded multitask operating system. Multiprocessor can coordinated work to improve system efficiency.
2.4 Input unit for on-off signals is integrated in the device, which has 15 input channels, if the owner needs more, another input unit can be provided. The input unit has own CPU and all input channels are isolated by optocoupler,It has the advantages of high efficiency, real-time, high veracity. System reliability is enhanced and maintenance is also very convenient.
2.5 Output unit for on-off is integrated in the device and has seven output channels. DC 24V relay with high drive capability is provided to control DC 220V directly.
2.6 New style man machine interface with touch screen is easy to operate and comprehend, and has abundant on-line help.
2.7 All kind of real-time data, state messages and alarm messages can be displayed integrally. The operating personnel can know the running state of the DC power system in good time and accurately.
2.8 Watchdog is applied in hardware design to monitor the running of the software,in the meantime, its software design adopts software trap technology and significant data multilevel backup technology to guarantee the reliability of the system and the integrality of the data.
2.9 The device provides RS—232, RS—485 and RS—422 interface to communicate with other upper/lower equipments. The owner can select one of them.
2.10 The device has the functions of online diagnosing and self recovery.
